"Pupils make good progress and achieve well" OFSTED

These are the staff at our school

This is our Head teacher, Mark Smith.
" I have been Head teacher at Bishops Lydeard for 16 years now. During this time the School has developed considerably and I am very proud of what has been achieved by the staff and Governing Body. Our last OFSTED inspection was extremely positive emphasising in particular the very good quality of teaching, the excellent relationships between staff and pupils, the positive partnership we form with parents and how much the pupils enjoy coming to School. We value each of our individuals and provide a caring and stimulating environment in which they can reach their potential."
Anne Smith is our Deputy Head teacher. Anne has worked at Bishops Lydeard for 21 years, the last 11 as Deputy Head. Anne says, "The School has developed tremendously during my time here and offers first class opportunities for our pupils.
