1. Parent’s Questionnaires:
Questionnaires sent out before Easter Holidays, 26 returned. Most of the responses were positive about School, with some new ideas.
Action:
2. Bags 2 School:
A recycling project that raises money for the School, and fits with the eco-school ethos. Bags 2 School will now pay £300.00 per tonne (33p per Kilo). Items sent to developing countries and sold.
Lorry will collect from the school on 23rd May; parents can leave bags at school on Thurs 22nd pm or Fri 23rd am.
Action: Julia - Letter informing parents of project to go home this week
Julia to organize blue collection bags to be delivered to School next week
Each child to get a bag to take home Friday 9th May
Sue - Reminder letter to go home 19th May
(Year 5 reminder on 16th May due to Kilve Camp)

3. New Parents evening:
Tuesday 20th May, 6 or 6.30?
Yvonne and Julia to speak to parents on the night, and to have a flier to take away as reminder.
Action: Mark to confirm time
Sue to ask Caroline if she would like to do a flier and posters to explain Association and type of events etc
4. Sponsored Bounce:
Letter will need to include an “opt-out” slip, and reference to insurance cover.
Action: Sue - Letter to be included in Bags 2 School reminder plus sponsor form to go out on 19th May

5. Summer Disco:
20th June. Detail to be organized at next meeting. To ask the School Council if the children would like a theme for the Disco.
Action: Yvonne to ask Rachel Beattie to discuss with School Council
6. Non-Uniform Day
27th June, in preparation for the Summer Fete. To be discussed at next meeting. KS1: Mystery cups, KS2: Tombola.

7. Fundraising Christmas Cards
It may be possible to raise money by selling cards designed by children, printed with School name. It could include competition for each class to select design. It would need to be done at start of Autumn Term to allow plenty of time for parents to buy them.
Action: Sue to look into possible costs
