Reception

Children in the Reception Year will be following the Foundation Stage Curriculum.  There are sets of

Early Learning goals for this stage which set out what most children are expected to achieve by the end of the Reception Year.  These early learning goals are taught in six areas:

• Personal, social and emotional development
• Communication, language and literacy
• Mathematical development
• Knowledge and understanding of the world
• Physical development
• Creative development
