The School's curriculum is based on the National Curriculum.  Teachers plan for the short and medium term and the whole curriculum is overseen by the School's Management Team working with the Governing Body's Curriculum Committee.

 

Anne Smith, the Deputy Head teacher, is also the School's Curriculum Manager and she produces a termly Curriculum Newsletter.  For details of the current curriculum please download the Word document at the foot of this section.  This gives a detailed breakdown of the curriculum being followed by all groups of children in the School for this term.

 Extra-Curriculum

 

Bishops Lydeard Church of EnglandPrimary School offers the children lots of opportunities to take part in after school activities. These are some of the clubs that the school offers:

Multi-Skills

The above activities are run voluntarily by staff and there is no charge for them.

 

The School runs a Breakfast Club.  This operates from 0745 until 0845 each school day and further details can be obtained from the Office.
