Dear Parents
With this letter you should receive a copy of our OFSTED Report. Please take the time to read it as it gives a really accurate, independent account of our School. The staff and Governors are delighted with it and I think we should all feel very proud of our School! The children have all been given their own personal letter from the Inspector and I attach a copy of this for you too. My thanks go to you for returning your questionnaires and speaking so positively to the Inspector. The children, too, deserve special mention as the Inspector spent a fair amount of time both observing them in lessons and talking to them at breaktimes and in the School Council Meeting. Finally I want to mention our dedicated Staff and supportive Governors who have worked so hard to make our School a 'Good School'.
As you know our Breakfast Club is very popular and our members have increased. If any of you would like to be considered for the position of 'supply cover' please let Mary Abel know.
Despite our poor weather currently we remain optimistic about our Fete on Saturday (1.30pm-4.30pm) and our Sports Afternoon on Monday 9 July (starting 1pm). Please come to both if you can!
Finally, the School will be taking the first 2 days if next term for INSET (Training), so the School with reopen for pupils on Wednesday 5 September.
