Dear Parents
It seems that we will be blessed with decent weather for tomorrow's 'CLIC Sargent' Sponsored Run but we will need to modify the course as the lower part of the field will still be too wet. There is a raffle (with lots of prizes) tickets cost £1.00 a strip or six strips for £5.00, the draw will take place tomorrow at 3.15 pm there will also be a Cake Stall in the hall so please bring your spare cash as it is such a worthwhile cause.
May I remind you that the Life Education Centre Caravan will be here from tomorrow through to Monday. There is a 'slot' for parents - 8.45 am to 9.15 am on Friday - so do come if you are interested - you just need to turn up - no need to book! The children are really looking forward to this so please talk to them about their session.
There will be an opportunity for you to come along to talk with your child's teacher at a Parents Consultation Evening on either Tuesday 27 March or Thursday 29 March between 3.30 pm and 7.30 pm to see how s(he) is progressing. As usual you will be allocated a 10 minute interview but if you feel you need to discuss any topics in greater detail, could you please make another appointment for after School or come to see me. This arrangement enables the evening to run smoothly, without the need for anyone to wait too long. So that we can fit family appointments near together could you please indicate on the tear off slip at the bottom of this letter, the day and the approximate time you wish to be seen. We will do our best to accommodate you wishes wherever we can and will notify you of your precise appointment time as soon as possible after Monday 12 March.
As you will know from previous correspondence the School tries to ensure that it seeks the views of parents/carers over a range of issues and one way that we do this is through occasional questionnaires. With this letter is a single sheet containing seven straightforward questions requiring just a tick in the appropriate box. The questionnaire is similar to the one that Ofsted asks parents to complete during an inspection and will give the Management Team a clear indication of parents/carers views on some basic issues. We received a good response to the same questionnaire this time last year and have acted on a number of points raised - for example the installation of a security system - so we do hope you feel you can help us again. We do try to listen!
