Dear Parents

 

My final letter of the term!

 

Firstly I hope you had a pleasant Easter weekend – it’s unusual for Easter not to come during the 2 week break, not something any of us are used to!

 

We have our Service in St Mary’s at 11 o’clock this Friday so do please try to come along.

 

The School needs one or two relief Midday Supervisors to cover for staff sickness, etc.  If you think this role appeals to you please ask for details at the Office.  Thanks.

 

With this letter you should receive a questionnaire that the School Association has asked me to forward to you.  Please can you complete and return it to the Office at your earliest convenience, thank you.

 

Sadly the School has been on the receiving end of a spate of vandalism during the last couple of months.  The Community Police Support Officer is keeping an eye on the situation but if you could help, too, by reporting anything suspicious to her (preferably) or the School then please do.  It is sad to see our School damaged so wilfully and spoilt for our pupils and staff.

 

Finally a really good ending!

Grace Saunders one of our Year 5 pupils, has won £1000 worth of books for the School (as well as £ 100 worth for herself).  Well done Grace – we’ll look for your photo in the Gazette.

 

Our last day of tern is Friday 4 April and we return on Monday 21 April.
