Welcome to Bishops Lydeard Church of England Primary School. Please take time to explore our web site which contains lots of information about the School. Our most recent OFSTED Inspection was in June 2007 and the Inspector's report can be viewed in full in our 'Documents' section. We were very pleased with the outcomes as we were judged to be a 'Good School' with some 'Outstanding Features'. In September 2007 the School had its SIAS (Statutuory Inspection of Anglican Schools) inspection again with outstanding results. The final version of this report has also been published and is posted on in the 'Documents' section.
We endeavour to maintain our website and update it regularly. It was last refreshed on 09 February 2010. As of this date, we have spaces in some of our year groups but not in all of them. If you think you might like your child to come to Bishops Lydeard School please contact Annette Williams, the School's Secretary. She will be able to advise about spaces and/or transfer your call to Mark Smith, the Head teacher. For all other enquiries or information, please feel free to contact the School by telephone, by completing an enquiry form or by browsing this site.
Thank you.
